Renwood, Amador County, Grandpere, Zinfandel 1997 Loire Paul GreguttInto neck Renwood's Grandmre Zinfandel represents a blend of two of the finest Zinfandel vineyards that reside throughout the hillsides of Amador County's gold country. These two vineyards provides Renwood with fruit from 60 and 80 year old vines. The name Grandmre (or Grandmother) was choosen because fruit from these vineyards result in a wine that is consistently warm and friendly, gracefully mature and immediately inviting.
